My Mother’s Day was sweet and simple…just the way I like it :) Nothing fancy…and this year I even got a Mother’s Day card from my sweet hubbie instead of birthday card! He was so funny last year and picked out a cute card but didn’t realize inside it said “happy birthday”…too funny!
And the best gift…Gabriella made my bed! It took her about 45 minutes but boy it was perfect and not a wrinkle! Really cute and I appreciated her sweetness! Hope your Mother’s Day was fabulous too ! Happy belated Mother’s Day to all the wonderful Mommies out there!!

It’s been almost a year in the making…but it’s official! Fabby Gabby has a new fresh and more magical look! We loved our original site! It used to have the cutest flash intro of Fabby Gabby moving a wand over her head and a poof of smoke came out with menu bar on top…so cute!! We’re so excited to have this fun, fairytale like design full of stars and swirls! Tell us what you think!

I read in the paper today that this is the HOTTEST lipstick!  It’s a bubble gum pink lipstick that is the must-have this Spring 2007 with it-girls every where!!  Why is Proenza Pink hot? Mostly b/c limited addition only 2000 units were made.  What I thought was very funny was theis blog (stylesmart.blogspot) said “it looks like something your overtanned Florida grandmother might wear.”.  I know that look. I live in West Palm Beach…and yes, that’s the look of many a chic grandma here around town! I guess I won’t be getting the hottest color this season. First, b/c it will be next to impossible to find any where.  Second, I don’t want to wear something likened to the color of Pepto-Bismol.  Back in high school I remember a very popular color like that…and I thought I was so cool wearing it!! Little did I know…

you will giggle and appreciate this! I received this before in an email from a friend and just got it again tonight (this time by a fellow Italian friend).  And it’s hysterical! the part about pruning the fruit trees is so true! My dad always has a comment about a plant or tree in our yard…one Sunday a few months back it was our lavendar bougainvillea by the front door…it was too bushy and he needed the trimmers. He gave it such a trim that it was sadder than the Christmas tree on the Charlie Brown Christmas special. My husband (who’s also Italian)was furious with me for letting him “trim” our beautiful bougainvillea. My dad promised “it willa growa back…donna worry!”. And 3 months later…it did grow back! Bigger and more beautiful than before! So if you’re Italian have fun and laugh. If you’re not…you’ll still have a giggle or two at this silly list!

American Kids: Move out when they’re 18 with the full support of their parents.

Tutu Posh & Stuff

Lottie_popupIt’s always fun getting emails from people who have great products!  Today I got the sweetest email from Lora at Tutu Posh and FabbyGabby.  Two super cute sites with a huge array of great things for the princess in your life.  First and foremost is this great tee-pee!  How cute is this?  It’s called the “Lottie Dottie - Tee Pee for Me” and if you are looking for something besides that mass produced plastic stuff to stare at then this is perfect!

Bluepie_tot_small2I’m also asking mommy for one of the wonderful tutus from Tutu Posh.  Every girl needs at least one tutu for special occasions and dress up.  You can also adorn yourself in sparkly tights, ballet slippers and a huge array of other beautiful delights!

Grab your sippy cup and head over to Tutu Posh and FabbyGabby for more great finds

3 Fabby GabbyIf only we could get away with wearing tutus, at our age. But would people be scared if suddenly we traipsed around in tulle and pink leotards? Probably. (We did just put in a ballet bar, but that was more of a stretching thing.)Happily, though, we can live vicariously and buy tutus for all the baby girlies in our lives. Oh, and we will. Especially now that we’ve discovered Fabby Gabby. These are so cute, so adorable…they’re enough to make you pirouette.
